Requirements

Candidates must have over 7 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle, provider education, or field-based consulting roles. Proven success supporting or leading customer-facing teams in a healthcare or payer/provider environment is required. A strong understanding of billing workflows, documentation standards, reimbursement practices, common sources of claim friction, and deep knowledge of payer requirements, including interpreting EOBs, is essential. The ability to travel up to 60% is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The RCM Commercial Liaison Lead will support and mentor a team of RCM Commercial Liaisons, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Responsibilities include standardizing provider-facing education and documentation, promoting billing best practices to reduce denials, and serving as the primary RCM contact for Commercial Sales teams. This role involves collaborating with Market Access and Strategic Payer Partners on provider-facing strategies, assisting with the resolution of field billing issues, and providing support for provider onboarding and consultative guidance. The lead will also identify and address post-claim issues, provide escalation support to improve collections, track and report on training and resolution metrics, and use insights to inform leadership and improve alignment.
