Candidates must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with proven experience in software quality assurance. Required skills include high attention to detail, an agile mindset with adaptability to change, fluent English communication, and a strong understanding of system design, software architecture, standard methodologies, and CI/CD. Proficiency in Quality Assurance methodologies, tools, and processes is essential, along with the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects. Experience writing test plans and cases in tools like Xray, understanding of Web applications (HTTP, REST APIs, HTML/CSS, XML, JSON), and familiarity with tools such as Postman or Swagger are necessary. Bonus points are awarded for knowledge of the Microsoft technical stack, JavaScript, React.js, mobile testing, software accessibility, frontend testing tools, and experience with BDD Feature files in Gherkin.
The Quality Assurance Engineer will own and supervise the QA flow to ensure release quality standards are met. They will collaborate with Product Owners and developers to ensure maximum quality, discuss defects and resolutions, and handle functional scenarios across various environments and installation modes. Working within a cross-functional Scrum Team, the engineer will participate in the entire development process, help define and review acceptance criteria, and perform exploratory, functional, integration, and regression testing. Key duties include creating and maintaining detailed test plans and test cases, identifying and communicating quality-related risks, leading test design decisions, and participating in all agile ceremonies. The role also involves collaborating with the team to implement and improve test and release automation processes.
