Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience, with at least 3 years of experience in software quality assurance. Foundational knowledge of test automation tools, scripting languages, and frameworks is required, along with proficiency in writing and executing test cases, test plans, and test scripts. A foundational understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and compliance management technologies is necessary. The ability to follow instructions accurately, work independently and in a team, learn quickly, leverage generative AI, and possess strong attention to detail and communication skills are essential. ISTQB certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

The Quality Engineer will develop and execute comprehensive test strategies to ensure software quality and performance, leading risk-based testing efforts and designing/automating complex test scenarios. Responsibilities include supporting test automation integration within CI/CD pipelines, collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize test coverage, and mentoring junior engineers. Key duties involve developing and maintaining automated test scripts, executing and analyzing test results, reporting defects, contributing to test automation frameworks, performing regression testing, troubleshooting automation issues with developers, maintaining test automation environments, improving CI/CD pipelines, providing progress updates, analyzing test results for recommendations, assisting with test reports and metrics, and improving existing automation processes and documentation.
