Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years of QA experience, with at least 2 years in a QA Management role. Strong knowledge of risk identification, management, and risk-based testing is essential, along with robust technical skills in both functional and non-functional testing, preferably within a continuous delivery environment. The role also requires self-motivation, a creative problem-solving approach, a passion for the outdoors, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to work quickly. AI proficiency, including prompt writing and evaluation of AI outputs, is expected. Experience with backend and/or web application testing, web technologies like HTML, CSS, Javascript, SQL, databases, ZenDesk, and UnitQ are considered nice to have.

Responsibilities

The QA Manager will be responsible for managing and mentoring a team of quality engineers, developing and implementing manual QA strategy, methodology, discipline, and framework. This includes monitoring and analyzing key process and quality metrics, driving corrective and preventive actions for continuous improvement, and providing technical expertise in testing methodologies, processes, tools, and techniques. The manager will also foster a culture of quality, accountability, and collaboration throughout the organization.
