Requirements

  • Must enjoy working in a fast paced, team environment and be adaptable to changing priorities
  • 1-2 years RFP project management experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Internet Explorer
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and negotiate across the business and in the external health care environment
  • Must be organized and efficient, detail-oriented and able to multi-task
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Supports the growth of Aetna membership by developing customer-focused, strategically-oriented proposal responses
  • Has overall accountability for the quality and timeliness of Request for Proposals (RFPs), including responding to questionnaire components
  • Supports the field sales force in growing and retaining Aetna membership by developing strategically-oriented proposals that offer customized solutions for plan sponsor needs
  • Assists in the development of the sales strategy, responding to the questionnaire, complying with various data requests, and delivering a timely, high-quality proposal response
  • Coordinates responses to follow-up questions that showcase Aetna’s strengths and differentiate from competitors
  • Develops and maintains technical knowledge of all Aetna products and services
  • Excels at project management and handles multiple tasks
