Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree (B.S/B.A) from a four-year university or equivalent combination of education and experience, with 2 to 5 years of related experience. A strong understanding of project management methodologies, including change and risk management, is essential. Excellent communication skills, the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, and proficiency in creating spreadsheets, presentations, and project documentation are required. Strong observational and analytical skills, including the ability to track and report metrics and manage risks, are also necessary. Preferred qualifications include PMP, CAPM, IPMA, CPM, or similar certifications, and experience in data center or networking environments.
The Project & Program Management II is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering multiple simultaneous projects, including network implementation and data center builds/retrofits. This involves defining project requirements, performing feasibility assessments, and developing detailed project plans. The role coordinates work across multiple teams, manages resource allocation, materials, progress tracking, change control, testing, documentation, and training to ensure on-time delivery within budget. Key responsibilities include managing project milestones, timelines, and deliverables, creating comprehensive project documentation, participating in scope definition, driving project lifecycle milestones, measuring project performance using metrics and KPIs, providing regular status updates, participating in internal process improvements, mitigating risks, serving as a point of contact for vendors and stakeholders, and coordinating meetings.
