Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in an IT leadership role with direct people management responsibility
  • Proven experience in a regulated industry (e.g., healthtech, fintech) with deep, hands-on knowledge of HIPAA and SOC2 compliance frameworks

Responsibilities

  • Lead & Mentor: Manage a distributed team of 6 IT professionals, fostering their growth, managing performance, and building a culture of collaboration and excellence
  • Own IT Operations: Oversee our IT Service Management (ITSM) function, ensuring the delivery of high-quality support, defining and reporting on SLAs/SLOs, and continuously improving the employee experience
  • Drive Compliance: Collaborate closely with Compliance and GRC teams to own IT's role in our compliance programs, managing controls, gathering evidence, and interfacing with auditors for HIPAA and SOC2
  • Financial & Vendor Management: Manage the IT budget, oversee procurement, and lead vendor management activities, including contract negotiations and relationship management
  • Manage Assets: Direct the full lifecycle of corporate IT assets, from procurement and deployment to maintenance and disposal
  • Engineer & Document Processes: Design, implement, and document scalable IT processes. Build and maintain a robust knowledge management library to empower both your team and our employees
  • Champion Modern Operations: Integrate GitOps and ChatOps methodologies into your team's workflows, complementing and enhancing our automation-first engineering culture
