Requirements

Candidates should possess 10+ years of telecommunications experience, a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent practical work experience, and a Project Manager Certification. Familiarity with PM tools such as MS Project, SmartSheets, Confluence, JIRA, and Service Now is also required.

Responsibilities

The Project Manager will oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of engineering projects, including network design, construction scheduling, and asset management. Responsibilities include developing and monitoring build plans, coordinating work schedules, tracking milestones, ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations, managing vendor performance to meet budget and readiness dates, utilizing cost per premise modeling, analyzing data with partner groups, providing technical oversight to OSP build and operations teams, resolving network build roadblocks related to permitting and contractual interpretation, designing and implementing future state processes, analyzing GIS and IQGeo data, communicating training and procedures to stakeholders, creating IT enhancement requirements for fiber design, performing User Acceptance Technical Testing, and conducting periodic Quality Inspections on the Fiber Build. Periodic travel for meetings and relationship building is also expected.
