Requirements

Candidates should have a minimum of X years of experience in program management, project management, or similar roles within marketing or technology organizations, exceptional organizational capabilities with a proven ability to manage multiple programs and demanding timelines concurrently, outstanding written and verbal communication skills, a strong ability to influence and lead without direct authority, resourceful and solution-oriented with experience in navigating ambiguity and managing competing priorities, proficiency in tracking and analyzing metrics to evaluate program effectiveness and support data-driven decision-making, and familiarity with growth-focused and community-driven marketing methodologies.

Responsibilities

The Program Manager will develop and manage low-touch programs for smaller users and self-serve customers, facilitate the capture of authentic, high-trust narratives that drive word-of-mouth marketing and enhance discoverability, implement strategies that enable long-tail users to advocate for Timescale without requiring high-touch investment, monitor and analyze program metrics to assess effectiveness, adapt strategies as needed, and report results to relevant stakeholders, serve as the Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) for assigned projects, ensuring clear understanding of goals, timelines, and deliverables, own the creation, documentation, and dissemination of program requirements, roadmaps, and key success indicators, lead project planning sessions, define workstreams, identify potential risks, and manage dependencies, act as a key point of connection between teams to facilitate efficient workflows and resolve any obstacles.
