Requirements

  • Five (5) plus years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Experience using lockout tagout, job hazard analysis, hot work permit
  • Ability to read and interpret equipment work orders, manuals, assembly diagrams, electrical schematics, and P&ID’s
  • Knowledge of OSHA, NEC, NFPA, USDA, FDA, and other relevant industry standards

Responsibilities

  • Champions company and industry standard safety policies and procedures
  • Develops and executes inspections and preventive/predictive maintenance tasks on production and process utility equipment
  • Diagnoses and repairs production and process utility equipment deficiencies and failures (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic)
  • Uses continuous improvements tools and methods to improve equipment reliability (root cause analysis, failure mode analysis)
  • Coaches and trains team members on RCA and FMA
  • Champions and leads production equipment rebuilds, line moves, installations, setups, and calibrations
  • Works with OEM’s on emergency repairs
  • Manages assigned planned work, unplanned failures, and work orders in a high-paced environment
  • Accurately logs work orders in a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
  • Tracks maintenance and equipment performance metrics (labor, equipment uptime, preventive maintenance compliance, MTTR, MTBF, part usage, etc.)
