Requirements

Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED, and a minimum of one year of experience as a Manufacturing Production Technician working with equipment used for high-volume production. Preferred qualifications include working knowledge of extrusion or blow molding equipment, basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical mechanical systems, and the ability to troubleshoot and problem solve, with the capacity to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

As a Production Technician, you will operate a variety of extrusion and blow-molding manufacturing equipment to produce high-quality rigid plastic containers, monitor equipment settings, troubleshoot equipment, perform routine preventative maintenance, assure Plastipak customer requirements are met through quality checks, identify continuous improvement opportunities focused on safety, reliability, quality, and scrap reduction, and join with your team to achieve these goals.
