Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5+ years of Planning experience
  • 8+ years of overall Supply Chain / Manufacturing experience
  • Experience in FMCG or Pharma setup (Desired)
  • Good analytical skills
  • Experience in Supply Chain and/or Manufacturing
  • Experience participating in and contributing to S&OP meetings
  • Master Production Scheduling (MPS)
  • Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP)
  • Rough Cut Capacity Planning

Responsibilities

  • Lead SPP for the plant and ensure improvement in POR and MPS
  • Develop and deliver the Master Production Schedule (MPS)
  • Plan for Monthly, Weekly, & Daily production based on demand, available capacity, and optimal resource utilization
  • Lead Supply Planning during S&OP Meetings
  • Own New Product introduction, MTO & Niche Product Planning for Finished goods and input materials
  • Ensure availability of materials as per demand
  • Periodically review MRP parameters for finished goods
  • Facilitate capacity planning for all work streams and plan for seasonal builds
  • Ensure zero downtime due to non-availability of raw materials (RM) or packaging materials (PM)
  • Optimize product wheel in scheduling to optimize changeover downtime and maintain SKU availability
  • Enable production to achieve productivity targets (parts/FTE) as per Business Plan (BP)
  • Own and reduce inventory loss through interventions and prepare a plan for the same
  • Ensure timely corrections and maintenance of PI sheet entries and ensure physical and SAP inventories are in line with targets
  • Conduct rough cut capacity planning to ensure sufficient capacity is available with Operations to execute customer requirements
  • Provide input to CAPEX (Capital Expenditure) for capacity planning
