Requirements

Candidates should possess mechanical and machine component repair skills, along with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical fluid and utility systems and perform machine modifications and improvements. They should also be proficient in fabrication, machining, welding, installation, or rearrangement of equipment, and demonstrate experience with total plant and facility maintenance, utilizing precision tools and equipment while adhering to plant and department procedures, GMP’s, Quality and general plant safety rules.

Responsibilities

The Production Maintenance Technician will be responsible for mechanical and machine component repair, leading other employees including directing maintenance personnel, filling in for the Crew leader, and providing OJT for new employees. They will also record and communicate shift activity in an organized manner, and contribute to the overall maintenance of the plant and facility.
