Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to changing production demands
Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods, up to 12 hours/day
Frequently and repetitively lift, push, and carry up to 20 lbs., including up and down stairs
Ability to work outside for extended periods
Frequently and repetitively bend, lift, and reach to install vehicle parts overhead accurately and in allotted timeframes
Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours/day, including over varied and uneven terrain
Stoop, lay, bend, reach, squat, kneel, crouch, twist, and crawl for extended periods, up to 12 hours/day
Climb and maintain balance on ladders, platforms, or other high structures
Ability to find issues in work processes and be alert to safety signals using sight, touch, and hearing
Demonstrated ability to handle and manipulate tooling and mechanically fasten bolts within required cycle time
Exposure to hazardous materials and ability to follow waste handling/disposal procedures
Wear Personal Protective Equipment (e.g., safety glasses, shoes, hearing protection, gloves) and adhere to safety rules

Responsibilities

Train new employees on production processes and company policies
Certify team members on specific job tasks to ensure competency and compliance with safety and quality standards
Promote and enforce safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment
Monitor and ensure product quality meets company standards
Oversee production to meet cost and throughput requirements
Plan, schedule, and allocate manpower based on production needs
Adjust manpower allocation in response to daily production requirements and unexpected absences
Act as a backup to the production supervisor, overseeing operations and decision-making
Collaborate with the team to identify areas for improvement in the production process
Implement strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and maintain production targets
