Requirements

  • 7+ years of product management experience, with a focus on ads or monetization
  • Experience working in the ads (e.g. native advertising) and/or promotions (e.g. Coupons, Incentives, etc) domain, especially in an ecommerce marketplace
  • Experience leveraging AI and ML to build products that deliver outsized impact for users/marketers, comfortable designing for real-time systems like streaming data pipelines, event-driven triggers, and live experimentation environments
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments, identify trade-offs, and make decisions with limited information in high-pressure situations
  • Proven ability to develop sound research methodologies and collect, synthesize, analyze, and interpret data
  • Low ego, growth mindset, systems thinking, and high impact
  • Within commuting distance of New York, NY, San Francisco, CA, Seattle, WA, or Los Angeles, CA hubs

Responsibilities

  • Design and lead the product roadmap and strategy for Ads & Promos tools, balancing short and long-term goals
  • Engage regularly as a trusted advisor with leadership to understand their strategies, pain points, and priorities to inform product strategy, while providing transparency into roadmaps and managing expectations
  • Define product requirements and work with engineering, design, and broader team to bring the roadmap to market at lightning speed
  • Deeply understand and own the Ads & Promos ecosystem including seller budgeting strategies, ROI/ROAS, attribution, pricing, auction dynamics, and best practices to inform product strategy and execution
  • Drive development of core ad systems including ad ranking algorithms, bidding, targeting engines, pricing mechanisms, and impression supply forecasting
  • Deliver actionable metrics and dashboards to help sellers adopt and optimize marketing spend across Ads & Promos
  • Lead global expansion of Ads & Promos tools, with emphasis on adoption and ease-of-use
