Product Manager - Data Analytics (Retail)

Position Overview

Mindera is seeking a talented Product Manager to join our world-class team. You will be instrumental in defining the product lifecycle, articulating requirements, managing schedules, and fostering strong communication between development and business teams to ensure successful outcomes. This role is specifically for a Data Analytics team with a focus on the Retail industry, ideally with experience working with large retailers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving transformation projects, navigating complex technical landscapes, and delivering backend data integration solutions that support large-scale supply chain operations. You will collaborate with Transformation Leads, Business Stakeholders, and cross-functional tech teams to modernize retail systems, transitioning from legacy platforms to next-generation cloud-based solutions.

Travel: National and international travel is expected, varying from 0%-15% based on project/client and organizational needs.

Responsibilities

• Define, manage, and prioritize product backlogs for data integration and transformation initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather and validate requirements across various retail functions.
• Work with engineering teams to deliver scalable and robust data products that interface with both legacy and modern systems.
• Drive cross-team collaboration between business units, supply chain operations, and technology groups.
• Align product delivery with transformation roadmaps and overarching organizational goals.
• Translate technical concepts and constraints into business-friendly language and vice versa.
• Ensure the compliance and performance of data pipelines across diverse distribution channels (e.g., APIs, cloud streaming).
• Prioritize initiatives and manage the product backlog effectively.
• Facilitate Sprint Planning sessions to ensure consistent delivery of value.
• Run and participate in Sprint Retrospectives to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Background in the Retail industry.
• Experience working with large retailers is preferred.
• Proven experience in driving transformation projects.
• Experience working across complex technical landscapes.
• Experience delivering backend data integration solutions for supply chain operations at scale.
