Senior Product Manager - CORE Platform

Employment Type: Full-time

Position Overview

Collectors is the leading creator of innovative technology that provides value-added services for collectors worldwide. We grade, authenticate, vault, and sell millions of record-setting collectibles, all while modernizing and digitalizing the process to further our mission of helping collectors pursue their passions. We’re always on the lookout for talented people to join our growing team.

Our services span collectible coins, trading cards, Funko Pops!, video games, event tickets, autographs, and memorabilia. Our subsidiaries include PSA, PCGS, SGC, WATA, and Card Ladder. Since our founding in 1986, we have graded and authenticated millions of items. We employ more than 1,900 people across our headquarters in Santa Ana and offices in Jersey City, Tokyo, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Toronto, Guadalajara, Dallas, and Paris.

Our Product and Design teams are helping to create a seamless user experience across various platforms to provide the most trusted services and delightful experiences for grading, protecting, managing, buying, selling, and sharing collectibles. Our grading operation processes millions of collectibles a year and serves as a research hub for collectors across collectible categories. By defining the standards in the collectibles industry, we have earned customer trust that we can leverage across our expanding suite of services such as Vault and Marketplace that offer premium collection management and liquidity options to our customers in addition to our grading services.

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead our CORE Platform team, which builds the foundational service mesh and orchestration layer that powers Collectors’ ecosystem of integrated products across our Grading and Marketplace experiences. In this role, you’ll work at the intersection of product and infrastructure, owning systems that orchestrate mission-critical customer touchpoints and transactional processes across ordering, fulfillment, payments, notifications, and more. You'll partner closely with cross functional product and technology teams to design scalable, event-driven systems that coordinate services, manage dependencies, and ensure seamless end-to-end execution of our customer experiences. This is an ideal opportunity for a product leader who thrives in technical domains and is passionate about building the invisible systems that enable product velocity and make best-in-class user experiences possible.

Responsibilities

  • Work across teams to ensure backend workflows scale with growth and support new product innovation across Collectors’ global line of businesses, as well as our growing portfolio of external integration partners.
  • Lead the evolution of a homegrown orchestration layer into a robust, scalable platform—enabling faster product development, cross-team reuse, and consistent execution across services.
  • Evaluate and improve system workflows and integration patterns in a distributed architecture (e.g., payments, submissions, vaulting) to remove friction and enable seamless integration across customer experiences.
  • Help drive the execution of a company-wide ERP migration, responsible for both the integration layer between the ERP and internal systems, and for the orchestration services that manage workflows outside the ERP.
  • Translate complex technical requirements into clear product specifications, balancing trade-offs between speed, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment and lead without direct authority by clearly articulating technical trade-offs, product rationale, and roadmap priorities to stakeholders across product, engineering, operations, and executive leadership—ensuring complex initiatives are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Develop clear documentation and enablement resources to support platform adoption and alignment across teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with a strong preference
