Requirements

  • Empathy for consumers and passion for solving consumer problems in new and innovative ways
  • Comfortable taking the driver's seat, knowing how to reach destinations, and knowing when to let others lead
  • At least 2 years of experience working on successful digital consumer products, preferably in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Ability to wear multiple hats, including researcher, interface designer, analyst, and collaborator
  • Interest in and/or history working on modern consumer financial tools and products, with perspective on innovation in this space

Responsibilities

  • Take direction from leadership on key objectives and outline a roadmap with the product team to achieve successful outcomes
  • Drive the discovery process to deeply understand users and uncover products/features that empower consumers
  • Capture and analyze data beyond instinct to make informed decisions and evolve approaches
  • Champion products within the team, across the company, and with consumers
  • Collaborate within the dedicated product team (design and engineering) and cross-functionally with marketing, legal, operations, leadership, and others as needed
  • Conduct user interviews, dig into databases, wireframe in tools like Miro, dogfood app releases, and perform other hands-on tasks to find solutions
