Responsibilities

You'll be working full stack at the intersection of people and data. The Product Analytics team's mission is to expose powerful tools to help engineers, PMs, and others understand customer product usage.

  • Work on the core event tracking system, enabling customers to instrument front-ends and back-ends to track any imaginable metrics.
  • Integrate with the data warehouse to allow customers to sync data into PostHog from their own databases and third-party sources.
  • Build and maintain a suite of insights that allow customers to visualize data without writing SQL.
  • Develop and maintain the internal SQL dialect (HogQL) to simplify complex queries for end users.
  • Collaborate with high-scale ingestion pipeline and ClickHouse teams to realize user experience ideas.
  • Address and solve increasing scale challenges as data ingestion grows.
  • Leverage AI to make it easier for customers to discover insights within their data.
