Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Product Development, Engineering, or Design, and have at least 5 years of experience in footwear product development. Strong knowledge of footwear manufacturing processes, materials, and design principles is essential, as is familiarity with CAD software and 3D modeling tools.
The Product Developer will manage the development of new footwear products from concept to commercialization, collaborating closely with LO PE teams, factory partners, and suppliers. They will review blueprints, 3D models, and wooden models to ensure accuracy and design integrity, manage project information and timelines, lead meetings with key stakeholders, and support the product commercialization process through T1 to T4 and initial productions. Additionally, they will monitor project status, identify and resolve issues, and provide feedback to factory partners regarding performance shortcomings and timing issues, ultimately ensuring manufacturability, performance, costing, and sustainability goals are met.
