• Salary: $140,800 - $158,400 USD (US employees), $140,800 - $158,400 CAD (Canadian employees) - Ranges are competitive and based on experience.

Mercury is seeking passionate Backend and Full-Stack Engineers to join our growing product engineering group. Requirements

• Experience: 2-5 years of backend or full-stack development experience.
• Technical Skills:
  • Knowledge of or excitement to learn Haskell, React, TypeScript, and Redux.
• Product Mindset: Passionate about product development and experience building and shipping new products.
• User Empathy: Ability to empathize with users and channel their perspective into building lovable products.
• Problem-Solving: Capacity to balance tradeoffs and find creative solutions.
• Communication & Collaboration: Effective communication and collaboration skills with peers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Feel a strong sense of product ownership and actively seek responsibility.
• Work in an autonomous environment on a close-knit team with a “startup within a startup” feel.
• Partner closely with designers and product leaders to ship lovable experiences.
• Contribute to the development of Mercury’s product engineering group (Banking, Everyday Experiences, Expansion, Risk).
