Responsibilities

  • Creating batch records in SAP (Pre-Scale)
  • Gathering raw ingredients like sugar and measuring them precisely following recipes (Pre-Scale)
  • Building batches or kits for the mixers (Pre-Scale)
  • Creating labels in SAP and checking inventory (Pre-Scale)
  • Moving kits from pre-scale to the mixer using a forklift (Mixing)
  • Loading ingredients into the mixer using proper tools (like sifters and box cutters) (Mixing)
  • Following batch recipes carefully, especially timing (e.g., jam every 40 minutes) (Mixing)
  • Managing time efficiently to produce more batches (Mixing)
  • Loading dough and jam into hoppers that combine into fig bars (Extruders)
  • Using forklifts to move materials to hoppers (Extruders)
  • Maintaining oven temperatures and entering data into the system (Extruders)
  • Troubleshooting jams and cleaning equipment (Extruders)
  • Cutting bars into the correct sizes (Guillotine)
  • Removing any defective products (burned, misshapen, holes) (Guillotine)
  • Communicating with extruders about jams or issues (Guillotine)
