Requirements

BS/BTech (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
10+ years of production-level experience as an engineer and technical lead building highly scalable and reliable software
5+ years of managerial experience building and leading technical engineering teams
Experience in attracting, hiring, and coaching world-class engineers including performance management (Preferred)
Experience in taking ownership of technology decisions, while delegating and empowering team members (Preferred)
Experience communicating analysis and establishing confidence among audiences who do not share your disciplinary background or training (Preferred)
Strong communication and relationship building skills, with experience influencing and aligning multiple stakeholders (Preferred)
Proven experience in guiding technical teams and architects, with a strong focus on building scalable platforms (Strongly Preferred)
Experience in full-stack development, particularly with technologies such as Python, JavaScript, AWS, and DevOps practices (Strongly Preferred)
Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholder groups, including leadership teams and operational departments (Strongly Preferred)
Proficiency in representing engineering interests in key leadership meetings and discussions (Strongly Preferred)
Ability to lead and mentor a team of seasoned engineers, managing performance and professional growth (Strongly Preferred)
Proven track record of building and scaling software solutions in fast-paced environments, preferably within traditional software or healthcare tech industries (Strongly Preferred)

Responsibilities

Build a high performing team by hiring and nurturing engineering talent
Provide strong technical leadership - drive technical solutioning and building roadmaps
Set aggressive and clear goals and remove all roadblocks for the team to achieve them
Work seamlessly and collaboratively with stakeholders across Aledade to achieve business outcomes
Work closely with engineering leaders to drive engineering excellence in our processes and systems
Lead engineering teams in developing innovative product experiences for Wellness, Hypertension, Emergency Discharge, and Transition of Care
Navigate complex stakeholder relationships, oversee technical projects, and drive operational excellence across engineering functions
Lead the AI-powered transformation of critical worklists
Dig deep with engineers, coach/mentor on technical design where necessary, and deliver high business impact on projects of increasing dependencies and ambiguity
Lead a team of managers and individual contributors in the development of life-saving and health-improving technology
