  • Brief Description: Udacity is seeking a Junior On-Call Video Producer to assist with the creation of course content for their online learning platform. This role involves supporting live builds, scheduling productions, providing technical support, and collaborating with instructors.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience as a producer.
  • Live Broadcast Experience: Previous experience working on live broadcasts.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with a VMix or switcher boards.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency with Adobe Premiere.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Organization Skills: Aptitude for solid pre-production and organization.

Responsibilities

  • Live Builds: Assist with and potentially run live builds, both remotely and in-studio.
  • Travel: Be able to travel to San Francisco (SF) periodically for in-studio productions.
  • Project Tracking: Track progress using internal project management tools.
  • Communication: Communicate via email and Slack.
  • Instructor Collaboration: Collaborate and coach on-camera instructors in-studio and remotely.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to instructors setting up remote production.
  • Content Review: Review and provide notes on all content and slides created for programs.
  • Video Editing: Edit classroom and public-facing videos created for programs.
