Responsibilities

  • Lead technical solution strategy for large, complex customer accounts, aligning with business goals
  • Deliver high-stakes product demos showcasing Backbase’s platform to meet executive expectations
  • Guide senior customer stakeholders (including C-suite) on technical and business benefits to shape digital banking strategy
  • Handle difficult objections using creativity, technical insight, and business acumen
  • Mentor Senior and Junior Solutions Engineers in solutioning, presentations, and handling senior stakeholders
  • Influence competitive strategy for major deals to position Backbase as the winner
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Services teams for seamless customer engagements and solution delivery
  • Take ownership of complex RFPs and proposals to clearly demonstrate Backbase’s value
  • Build deep, long-term relationships with senior customer stakeholders as trusted advisor
  • Provide feedback to Product team to shape future features based on customer needs
  • Drive innovation in Solutions Engineering team with new best practices and methodologies
  • Stay updated on market trends and industry insights to refine Solutions Engineering approach
  • Engage in strategic planning with C-level executives at global, multinational customers
  • Lead by example on most complex, high-value deals
  • Shape Backbase’s product roadmap based on industry trends and customer feedback
  • Develop thought leadership by representing Backbase at industry events and contributing to banking conversations
