Candidates should possess 8-10 years of experience in IT Project Management, with 2-3 years of experience in platform implementation/deprecation and 5 years of experience with risks, opportunities, issues, and change management. A Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree is required, or 15 years of experience in lieu of a degree. Familiarity with Agile Delivery Frameworks, P&L Management, and Change and Quality Management is also necessary. Desired skills include PMI PMP Certification, experience with Jira/Atlassian Products, GitHub, Mural, Visio, and Google Suite.
The Principal Project Manager will support the contract Program Manager to lead cross-functional delivery teams, organize and direct contract operations support functions, manage budget and financial execution, and track program milestones in an Integrated Master Schedule. They will be responsible for developing transparent delivery performance metrics, establishing integrated dashboards for real-time status reporting, implementing a change management plan, and managing project teams within an Agile delivery framework. The role also involves occasional client interface opportunities and travel to New Jersey for onsite meetings, and performing additional duties as needed to support the Program Manager or Director of Project Management.
