Twilio is seeking a Principal Product Marketing Manager, Builder Experience to drive awareness and adoption of Twilio's Platform and new builder experiences. This role is crucial for Twilio's next chapter, focusing on empowering builders, both self-service and enterprise customers, to create, deploy, and scale their applications using new Console and API tools. You will combine your understanding of developer needs with a talent for crafting compelling narratives to boost adoption of Twilio's Platform.

Requirements

  • Required:
    • 5+ years of experience in product marketing or technical marketing.
    • Strategic thinker with the ability to build deep domain expertise through research and apply it to positioning, thought leadership, and marketing campaigns.
    • Proficient in translating data into compelling stories and presentations, clearly articulating complex concepts.
    • Skilled in enabling and educating internal audiences to create actionable content.
    • Proven ability to manage projects and drive results.
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Desired:
    • Experience with technology products targeting developers, particularly cloud-based services or API solutions.
    • Understanding of technical audiences' needs.

Responsibilities

  • Build a deep understanding of customers (including technical and non-technical builders) and user personas through research and direct engagement to shape go-to-market strategy and product roadmaps.
  • Develop compelling, audience-specific messaging, positioning, and content that differentiates Twilio's Platform.
  • Lead cross-functional product launches, collaborating with marketing, Product, Sales Enablement, GTM, and Support teams to drive awareness, demand, and usage of new products and experiences.
  • Act as a customer champion, influencing product development and ensuring alignment with customer needs throughout the Twilio Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC).
  • Test and refine new marketing approaches and channels to effectively reach and engage key audiences, helping them maximize their usage of the Twilio Platform.
