Redfin is seeking an experienced professional in program management or sales enablement to design and implement processes that enhance the customer journey. This role focuses on optimizing key areas such as listing preparation and home showing scheduling, while empowering agents to deliver exceptional service.

As a Principal Program Manager, reporting to the Director of Program Management, you will be a key leader at Redfin, driving strategic programs and projects to support business growth. You will effect positive change by understanding growth drivers and building strong cross-functional collaborations. While leveraging expert project/program management skills, you will also align these efforts with overall company objectives. This position acts as a crucial link between business strategy, technological advancements, and operational field processes to ensure optimal business performance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and/or participate in cross-functional teams involving real estate operations, training, analytics, engineering, and product to drive customer value through identified initiatives.
  • Prepare and manage project schedules and resources from project kickoff through national rollout.
  • Create streamlined and standardized processes to ensure consistent execution and enable continuous improvement.
  • Implement and manage changes, and resolve issues to achieve project goals.
  • Communicate program status regularly and effectively to all stakeholders throughout its lifecycle.
  • Develop clear and effective communication tools and training documents.
  • Spend time in the field observing and learning about what is working well and how improvements can be made.

Requirements

  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in project management, business operations, process improvement, or sales enablement. Proven track record of improving process efficiency and increasing productivity.
  • Formal Training: Formal process improvement training (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) or Change Management training is a plus.
  • Industry Experience: Real estate experience is a significant bonus.
  • Change Management: Ability to drive change through effective planning, identification of dependencies and risks, influencing stakeholders, setting goals, training agents, celebrating successes, and monitoring adoption.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to make data-driven decisions and possess a strong intuition for key metrics to inform proposals, validate viewpoints, and report on results.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Proven ability to build relationships, gain alignment, and secure support through compelling proposals. Skill in communicating effectively with diverse audiences, including sales teams and software engineers. Excellent listening skills, ability to provide clear communication, and a critical approach to personal processes with quick adaptation to feedback. Understanding that "99% done is half-done."
  • Travel: Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time to visit agents in field markets across the US.
