The Principal Infrastructure Architect will lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance infrastructure ecosystems, serving as a strategic partner to application teams. Responsibilities include defining hosting architectures across hybrid and cloud-native platforms, evaluating emerging technologies, and aligning infrastructure with FinOps principles. The role involves ensuring architecture designs meet enterprise standards for zero-trust, resiliency, disaster recovery, and high availability, establishing performance benchmarks, and proactively identifying risks. Key duties also include embedding security and compliance requirements into designs, integrating DevSecOps practices, collaborating with security and audit teams, and implementing governance processes. The architect will act as a trusted advisor, partner with various teams, lead cross-functional discussions, and mentor technical teams. Additionally, they will drive automation-first principles, implement observability platforms, evaluate AI/ML frameworks, and champion modernization initiatives.
