Requirements

  • Valid Tennessee Pharmacy Technician Registration
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 6+ months experience in a customer service position within healthcare, social services, or a similar service position (preferred)
  • CPhT or ExCPT Certification (preferred)
  • Prior authorization experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Assists customers by responding to specialty product inquiries and providing technical advice or recommendations for specialty needs
  • Maintains specialty retail store operations by completing inventory management tasks, restocking shelves, and organizing displays
  • Communicates with customers and shares announcements and/or promotions on the latest product releases, features, and technology trends
  • Compiles customer complaints, inquiries, or concerns for senior managers to help improve future customer service outcomes
  • Monitors key sales metrics related to daily, weekly, and monthly sales revenue, units sold, average transaction value, and conversion rates
  • Operates within the point-of-sale (POS) system to process transactions, handle cash, and operate payment terminals
  • Drives effective team collaborations with specialty retail associates and technicians to provide customers with a positive experience
  • Determines how best to prioritize tasks and manage workloads to ensure the timely completion of customer requests and specialty retail services
  • Performs basic repairs or provides step-by-step instructions to customers to help resolve issues with specialty retail products and/or services
