Requirements

  • Act as a role model demonstrating genuine care and setting standards for the pharmacy team

  • Demonstrate empathy, compassionate care, and collaboration with healthcare teams; resolve insurance/medication issues
  • Proactively offer and deliver immunizations; support technicians in immunization training
  • Manage pharmacy inventory, focusing on best practices and cold chain protection
  • Conduct onboarding and training for new technicians and pharmacists on CVS workflow, ensuring timely completion
  • Ensure full compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations; escalate issues as needed
  • Partner with Store Manager for talent pipeline of cross-trained colleagues
  • Oversee Staff Pharmacists and District Support Pharmacists, manage performance via observation, feedback, reviews, and gap closure
