The Role: Clinical Pharmacist

We are seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to join our strong team of clinicians, analysts, clinical support staff, and trainees. This role involves utilizing Arine’s software platform to optimize patient outcomes for our clients. The Clinical Pharmacist will provide expert-level medication therapy consultation to patients and providers, collaborate with the Engineering team and leadership to enhance Arine’s software platform, and supervise the Clinical Care support team. This position offers a direct impact on patient care and the delivery of our core clinical services. The ideal candidate will stay continuously up-to-date on developments in the fast-moving drug field, remaining aware of emerging patterns, treatment guidelines, and best practices.

The Clinical Pharmacist will receive assignments and function under the supervision of the Head of Operations. Key responsibilities include carrying out and supervising direct patient care, maintaining and reviewing patient medication profiles, counseling patients on appropriate drug use, promoting adherence, developing clinical recommendations, reviewing completed medication reviews by other Virtual Pharmacist users, and interacting with other health professionals to improve patient outcomes. Additional duties include assisting with orienting new team members and Virtual Pharmacist users, facilitating prior authorizations, and helping patients find financial assistance and transportation to increase medication access.
