Candidates must be accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy, possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required, have strong communication and presentation skills, be able to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends, be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time, lift, scan, and bag items, demonstrate finger dexterity, possess precision control, and be able to stoop to a considerable degree.
As a 3rd year pharmacy intern, the role involves keeping customers and patients healthy through adoption and management of patient care programs, leading with heart by displaying empathy and compassion, seeking new ways to grow and collaborate, facilitating a team culture that promotes caring, and delivering exceptional care to each patient under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, while also contributing to patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, customer service, inventory management, and workflow management.
