This role, Clinical Programs Pharmacy Technician Representative 2 (Community Resource Specialist), operates within the Maximize Your Benefits department. The primary focus is to assist members by connecting them with financial assistance resources to help overcome cost barriers to affording their medication. This involves taking inbound calls and making outbound calls to Humana members to explore cost savings through grants from national or local foundations, manufacturer assistance programs, and government-sponsored support like Low Income Subsidy (LIS) and Medicare Savings Program (MSP) for medication assistance. The role involves performing varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments, including computations. While working within defined parameters, there is some latitude over prioritization and timing, and the role operates under minimal direction, following standard policies with some opportunity for interpretation and independent discretion.
