Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent
Two years work experience preferred
Valid Driver's License with an acceptable motor vehicle record, and ability to drive and maintain a company vehicle and equipment in clean and proper operating condition
Must reside in Squamish, Whistler BC or within 45 minutes of position territory (Route territory: Squamish, Whistler, North Vancouver and surrounding area)
Must be able to work an overnight shift
Willingness to be on-call during off work hours and weekends as necessary (Weekend Coverage: Every 10-12 weeks)

Physical ability to lift/push/pull/carry up to 50 pounds (25 kilograms) chest high
Ability to access and work comfortably in a variety of conditions including confined spaces, damp/dusty locations, freezing conditions, and hot conditions
Ability to physically perform essential duties: lifting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, use hands to finger, balancing, walking, standing, talking, and hearing
Capable of wearing a respirator
Possess or able to obtain required pest certification and/or business licensing pursuant to country or provincial law

Responsibilities
Provide timely and cost-effective pest detection, elimination, and prevention solutions to an established route of commercial customers
Drive sales and attain budget goals by leveraging prospecting, cold calling, and networking skills
Provide brand protection to around-the-clock customers including commercial businesses such as restaurants, hotels, hospitals, nursing homes, schools, retail stores, and food and beverage processing plants
Establish effective working relationships with a variety of customers and partner with them on best practices to identify and solve pest problems
Keep abreast of Ecolab’s product/service offerings and industry conditions to enhance service and sales of pest prevention/elimination solutions
Use handheld computerized equipment to manage service and document structural, sanitation, and pest issues
Maintain flexibility to adjust your day to assist customers in a round-the-clock, fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
Build a sales pipeline by cold-calling and prospecting to secure new accounts and generate new sales within a specific geographic area while building Ecolab’s brand in your market
