Requirements

  • Media agency experience preferred
  • 8+ years of direct experience within digital media and performance marketing channels such as paid search, programmatic paid social
  • 2+ years of management experience
  • Tertiary qualifications in business, marketing, commerce, media or other relevant areas preferred
  • Significant experience in performance media with a proven track record of success in a fast-paced digital agency environment
  • Results-driven, with a strong understanding of event tracking, app conversions and customer acquisition
  • Experience in marketing with media partners and publications; obtaining and reviewing quotes, making recommendations and negotiations
  • Ability to analyse performance of channels and shift media spend in response on a regular basis
  • Experience in budget management with an ability to analyse performance of different channels
  • Extensive experience trading on platforms like Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, X, Pinterest, DV360 & Campaign Manager
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organised, adaptable
  • Deep interest in music, passion for digital media buying, dynamic problem-solver
  • Confident in stakeholder management, skilled in leveraging data and content to inform planning, buying, and campaign strategy
  • Music obsessed, team player, knack for problem solving

Responsibilities

  • Lead the performance media team to build, optimise and drive the success of UMA’s digital media campaigns, focusing on artist promotion and media buying for eCommerce campaigns
  • Utilise innovative media buying techniques to effectively promote artists and drive eCommerce performance
  • Support UMA labels in planning biddable media campaigns across various media including display, video, search and social
  • Manage media budgets, draft and revise media schedules, along with accompanying rationale
  • Ensure campaigns are created and implemented to best achieve campaign performance and media efficiency goals
  • Use insights from a range of sources, both internal and external, to build a case for campaign strategy
  • Build and manage biddable media campaigns within demand side platforms and/or across partners such as Meta, TikTok, Google Ads, DV360 etc
  • Work closely with the wider UMA team to report performance and deliver campaigns in line with performance targets, and with label teams to recommend optimal content and asset creation
  • Coach and mentor other members of the PM team and ensure they have the tools and skills to deliver on their campaigns
  • Participate in developing the PM strategy to align with the broader commercial strategy and deliverables
  • Act as an optimisation expert for each buying platform used, and regularly advise labels of additional opportunities
  • Prepare analysis and insight to accompany reports provided to the labels
  • Stay apprised of opportunities for reaching the target audiences of UMA artists
