Requirements

Candidates must have 5+ years of Social Media Buying experience and knowledge of buying software, with Strata being preferred. Experience working in and leading a team within a DSP, such as The Trade Desk, is required, along with knowledge and utilization of 1st and/or 3rd party data. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment are essential. Curiosity, skepticism, strategic and creative problem-solving, initiative, adaptability, and a commitment to self-development are also key qualities.

Responsibilities

The Associate Director, Paid Social Media will lead the strategy and management of paid social accounts to drive client performance and growth, providing leadership across the business and partnering with other channels for integrated plans. Responsibilities include overseeing campaign development, stewardship, optimization, and reporting on various platforms, designing optimal buys for cost efficiency, forecasting, and bid management, and negotiating rates, placements, and added value with media representatives. The role involves identifying new opportunities, building relationships with media representatives, managing daily account responsibilities, updating the Director on account status, overseeing campaign tracking setup, developing client-facing materials, collaborating with other team members, supporting reporting dashboards and client presentations, resolving media billing issues with the finance team, ensuring adherence to client budgets, and managing junior staff through training and prioritization. The Associate Director must stay current on media trends and opportunities.
