Position Overview

Confluent is seeking an exceptional Manager, People Services Enablement to enhance global people operations and processes that support company scale. Reporting to the Senior Director, Global People Operations and Technology, this role involves close collaboration with regional team managers and leads across Operations and HRIS, collectively known as the People Services Team.

The ideal candidate possesses deep subject matter expertise in global HR operations and a proven track record of identifying improvement and automation opportunities. Beyond process enhancements, this individual will identify core enablement needs and develop key processes and tasks for knowledge management, SOP documentation, and training for the People Services team. Operational project support will be provided by team members within People Services, making experience managing direct or dotted line relationships highly beneficial.

Success in this role hinges on the ability to work independently and cross-functionally to meet stakeholder needs and influence change. You will collaborate with various People teams, including Total Rewards, Business Partners, and Talent, as well as key stakeholders in Legal, Finance, and IT.

Responsibilities

  • Drive consistent, streamlined, and automated People Operations processes globally, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Partner with globally distributed and highly cross-functional teams to scope and drive project outcomes collaboratively.
  • Utilize a data-based approach to proactively identify improvement opportunities, implement changes, and measure results.
  • Develop clear and cohesive project plans, managing all stakeholders and deliverables according to timelines to ensure key priorities are met.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in HR operations and project management.
  • Demonstrated success in leading complex organizational initiatives within HR/People processes.
  • Experience with Workday business process design, including business requirements documentation.
  • Experience with project management in Asana or similar enterprise-level tools.
  • Exceptional process orientation and attention to detail, with the ability to drive projects to completion.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels and simplify complex topics for diverse audiences.
