Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience as a People Generalist, preferably in a fast-growing technology company, with expertise in employee relations, employee experience, and people operations. Experience supporting multi-geographical locations in APAC, including Singapore, China, Japan, and Australia, with an understanding of regional employment laws, is essential. Proven ability to implement HR programs, serve as a primary contact for senior leaders on local HR matters, champion diversity, equity, and inclusion, and utilize Excel for data analysis is required. Mandarin proficiency is highly beneficial.
The People Generalist will provide HR consultation to leaders and employees in the APAC region, covering areas such as workforce planning, succession planning, performance management, organizational design, employee relations, talent mobility, and terminations. They will partner with local leaders to build teams, collaborate with the global recruitment team to address talent acquisition challenges, and ensure legal compliance with local employment laws and policies. Responsibilities also include assisting with policy and benefits administration, HR systems management, onboarding and offboarding processes, developing total rewards programs, owning employee experience initiatives and events, and managing operational projects related to office spaces. Additionally, the role involves partnering with global HR leadership to execute HR strategies and initiatives.
