Responsibilities

The Payroll Specialist will accurately process and review semi-monthly payrolls for all employees using BambooHR, ensure timely and correct payment of wages, verify timekeeping records, validate payroll data, reconcile pre- and post-payroll reports, maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations, calculate and file payroll taxes, generate payroll-related reports, support internal and external audits, respond to employee inquiries related to pay, provide documentation and support for employment verification, collaborate with HR, maintain and update employee payroll records, recommend and implement improvements to payroll processes and systems, and assist in the testing and implementation of new payroll systems or upgrades.
