Requirements

Candidates must possess extensive payroll experience in a client payroll environment, expert legislative knowledge in the specified country/region, payroll implementation experience, strong communication skills for explaining payroll processes and issues, deep knowledge in using local payroll tools and software tools like SAP, Excel / Google Sheet, an analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities, the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, international work environment, experience in accounting/reconciliations, a productivity geek mindset, an understanding of asynchronous work, and fluent English writing and speaking skills. Experience working remotely is considered a plus.

Responsibilities

The Payroll Operations GP Country Lead will act as a subject matter expert for the specified country/region, lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of global payroll implementation projects, develop and maintain project plans & timelines, serve as the primary point of contact for the team, develop and implement standardized payroll processes and procedures, provide ongoing support during and after implementation, support the country manager and ops team, focus on KPIs and SLAs, implement and improve processes, mentor and support payroll specialists, and work with internal teams to improve the platform through UAT testing and documentation.
