This is a remote position available in the state listed on this job. Employment with BambooHR is contingent on passing both a background and credit check.

Our Payroll Support Team is dedicated to providing exceptional support to our clients, helping them elevate their payroll experience. As a Client Support Specialist for our Payroll Product, you will be at the forefront, supporting our payroll software and serving as the primary contact for small and medium-sized business clients. You will hone your troubleshooting skills, multitask effectively, and balance multiple projects while being a positive influence for businesses.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional email and phone support for customers.
• Offer solutions to questions regarding deductions, garnishments, and the BambooHR payroll software.
• Research solutions to challenging problems clients face.
• Assist clients in integrating and utilizing the software effectively.
• Perform focused work Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• Ability to engage in phone conversations for up to 6 hours a day.
• Passion for customer care and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
• Desire to learn payroll; prior experience is welcome but not required.
• Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Impeccable attention to detail.
• Tech-savvy with the ability to learn various software applications quickly.
• Ability to multitask throughout the day.
• Typing speed of 60+ words per minute.
• Availability for in-office training during the training/ramping period (approx. 16 weeks, dependent on performance) before choosing between in-office or remote work.
