Requirements

Candidates should possess a post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or equivalent experience, along with 3+ years of relevant payroll experience in a diverse, complex operation. Global payroll experience is an asset. A payroll certification or equivalent experience is required. Proficiency in payroll systems, particularly UKG or similar in-house systems, is essential. Strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, accuracy, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUPs & Pivot Tables) are necessary. The ability to multitask, stay organized in a fast-paced environment, and strong numeracy skills are also required.

Responsibilities

The Global Payroll & Benefits Specialist will manage end-to-end payroll processing for salaried employees globally, including assisting with year-end payroll processes across all regions and resolving payroll discrepancies. This role involves ensuring smooth onboarding, offboarding, and managing changes in payroll, retirement, and benefit systems, as well as updating payroll records with employee status changes. The specialist will also respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll procedures and benefits, assist with general ledger reconciliations and vacation accruals, and stay updated on global tax and regulatory changes.
