Requirements

Candidates should possess over 5 years of experience in the payments industry, with a background in business development, partnerships, banking, or fintech. A strong network within the payments ecosystem, including banks, card networks, APMs, and PSPs, is essential. Deep understanding of various money movement rails such as ACH, SEPA, Faster Payments, cards, stablecoins, and emerging systems is required, along with excellent communication, interpersonal, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Experience working with crypto companies or bridging TradFi and Web3 is considered a plus.

Responsibilities

The Payments Partnership Manager will build and manage relationships with top-tier payment service providers, banks, and infrastructure partners globally. This role involves collaborating on high-impact projects like local fiat rails for deposits/withdrawals, card programs, stablecoin settlement, and instant payouts. Responsibilities include assessing and launching geo-expansion efforts, representing Kraken at industry events, partnering with internal stakeholders for execution, and providing partner performance analysis while negotiating commercial terms and integration timelines.
