A minimum of one year of experience in a sales organization is required, along with a strong aptitude for sales and prospecting. Excellent communication skills, including in-person, written, and presentation abilities, are essential. A technology-minded approach and the ability to explain complex technical information to diverse audiences are necessary. Prior interest or experience in energy markets is a requirement, as is proficiency in time management and prioritization.
The Partnerships Sales Associate will identify and develop new prospects through various sources and achieve market certifications to sell DR programs across all nine markets. This role involves understanding baseline and performance calculations, program rules, and curtailment strategies for C&I customers. Responsibilities include accepting inbound and performing outbound calls to identify sales opportunities, vetting prospective partner leads, and working closely with Partnership Sales Directors to schedule meetings. The associate will develop relationships with key decision-makers, understand partner and end-customer needs, report on account activity, and assist in developing integrated value propositions. They will also work with signed partners to qualify their customers for DR, assist with proposal generation, and help win end-customer business, while meeting or exceeding individual sales goals and contributing to team and market objectives.
