Position Overview

  • Location Type: Remote
  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 (average base pay)
  • Bonus: May be eligible for monthly bonus.
  • Location: Fully remote within the United States, with eligible working rights and sufficient time zone overlap for team collaboration.

Xplor Pay is seeking a Partner Development Manager to join their team. This role focuses on developing and managing relationships with partners to drive the adoption and sales of Xplor's payment solutions, which include point-of-sale, e-commerce, mobile, in-app, recurring billing, e-invoicing, and auto-reconciliation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in sales, marketing, customer service, or a related field.
  • Must have payments experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience managing ISV Partners is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • IT fluency.
  • Salesforce experience is preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft programs.
  • Curious, empathetic, motivated by meaningful work, positive outlook, comfortable with ambiguity, and thrives in an evolving and complex environment.
  • Ability to be both tactical and strategic, aim high, and prioritize people.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of partner organizations, including roles, responsibilities, key stakeholders, and decision-makers.
  • Become educated on partner business models and go-to-market strategies to identify opportunities for leveraging Xplor resources to generate revenue.
  • Maintain relationships through periodic communication with partners.
  • Educate partners on available Xplor resources (e.g., Partner Home, New Merchant Home, Campus) to promote self-service.
  • Understand and communicate product features and benefits to partners.
  • Drive sales production through regular interaction with partners.
  • Monitor and report on partner production performance.
  • Work with partners to establish and track business goals and performance metrics, including sales pipeline depth and marketing efforts.
  • Assist partners with inquiries related to residuals and other reporting.
  • Support the negotiation of pricing, contract renewals, and other commercial terms.
  • Develop an understanding of available integration options, features, and benefits.
  • Drive the resolution of escalated issues through interaction with Xplor support teams.
  • Prepare periodic business reviews for assigned partners.
  • Visit partners as determined by management guidelines.
  • Participate in partner events where appropriate.
  • Maintain partner information in organizational databases in a timely and accurate manner.
