Candidates must possess a minimum of 6 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 4 years of experience utilizing Java. They should have demonstrated experience leading the delivery of multiple impactful products end-to-end, on time, and with a high quality standard. Experience working with technical and non-technical stakeholders, aligning expectations, and managing scope and delivery is required. Applicants should also have the ability to drive themselves and their team to ensure quality and consistency in code and architecture while maintaining velocity, and the ability to grow in a fast-paced environment. Furthermore, experience working in FinTech and familiarity with major payment rails, proficiency in Java frameworks and tools like Spring, Gradle, JUnit, and JVM, and experience with Service-Oriented Architecture, REST APIs, Message Queues, and scalable architectures are necessary.
As a Staff Software Engineer, Partner Integrations, the individual will help shape the technical roadmap for the team, working across APIs, SDKs, and Web experiences. They will collaborate with teams including Engineering, Product, Design, Infrastructure, Sales, Partner, and Customer Success to deliver products that meet customer needs and achieve business goals. The role requires hands-on execution of work, both individually and as part of a team, and a focus on building flexible products that align with the evolving product offerings. They will also be responsible for working with cross-functional teams involving product, design, and engineering, and contributing to CI/CD pipelines to improve code stability and quality.
