Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, with an MBA being a plus. A minimum of 8 years of experience in distribution or channel marketing, ideally within the IT, cybersecurity, networking, or enterprise hardware/software sectors, is required. A strong understanding of the two-tier distribution model, including vendor, distributor, and reseller dynamics, is essential. Proven experience in managing joint marketing efforts, MDF funds, and partner go-to-market strategies is necessary. Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills are needed to effectively engage distributor stakeholders and field teams. Proficiency in project management, cross-functional collaboration, and marketing automation tools is also required. The role may involve up to 15% travel within North America. Knowledge of key distribution players and platforms, as well as experience supporting distributor-led demand generation, digital campaigns, and territory-specific activities, are preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies aligned with distributor business plans and sales targets. Collaborate with distributor marketing teams on joint marketing plans, including MDF, co-branding, lead generation, and events. Champion brand consistency and messaging across the distribution network. Build relationships with key distribution partners and their reseller networks. Design and deliver scalable enablement assets such as playbooks and campaign kits to empower distributors. Support partner onboarding with marketing training and resources. Launch and manage co-marketing campaigns to drive reseller recruitment and channel sales. Align marketing programs with sales teams and revenue goals. Support participation in distributor events and conferences. Define KPIs, analyze campaign performance, and report on MDF usage. Audit partner content and program adoption to identify improvement opportunities.
