Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required (post-high school education is a plus; in lieu of H.S. Diploma and 1-year experience, enrollment in High School Vocational Program or attending College)
- 1 year of call center/customer service experience highly preferred (call center experience is a plus)
- Clear verbal communication, written communication, and reading comprehension in English and Spanish required
- Basic computer skills (typing -35 wpm, data entry, Internet savvy, MS Windows, and Outlook)
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with a sales mentality
- Ability to accurately interpret information, demonstrate problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain a friendly and customer service orientated persona
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines and productivity goals
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and hours of operation (9:00AM to 7:00PM), with open availability
- Must be able to sit in a chair for extended periods of time
- Must be able to regularly speak and hear via telephone headset
- Must be able to regularly type on a keyboard and use computer mouse
Responsibilities
- Take incoming telephone calls from Chuck E. Cheese guests; discuss location information, options for birthday parties, and organizational parties; assist guests in scheduling fundraising events
- Respond appropriately to guest objections and questions
- Deliver accurate description of service regarding birthday parties and fundraising campaigns
- Record each call by accurately documenting status and comments in the appropriate database or platform
- Increase birthday party sales by delivering excellent customer service and upselling party package options
- Minimize guests’ hold times by following all processes
- Perform other duties and aid co-workers as directed by the immediate supervisor or other members of Corporate Management Team
