Responsibilities
Prospecting and running presentations both in person and over the phone to small and mid-sized merchants, restaurateurs, and businesses to close deals within a fast sales cycle
Explaining value proposition and demonstrating Payments Platform
Upselling current clients on other Heartland products and services
Maintaining regular communication with Core Payments District Manager
Closing sales of business solutions with merchants throughout the area
Working with District Manager to set appointments with business owners via network and referral partnerships
Running scheduled appointments, uncovering needs, and presenting solutions to close sales
Prospecting new clients
Maintaining existing/prospective client records in CRM system (Atlas), including call notes, scheduled interactions, contact information, and other relevant data
Achieving minimum production requirements, including setting first time appointments to secure quota
Continuously building knowledge of product/service portfolio and financial technology industry developments
Attending weekly team meetings and one-on-one meetings with leader
